Mg C-type average tire pressure is 30.552 psi. If it is tough for you can round it 31 psi for all 4 tires.

Overinflated tires are less of an issue. Mg C-type tires can easily withstand pressures that exceed those recommended for normal driving. However, consistently overinflated tires provide a less compliant ride and suffer more rapid wear in the center of the tread, which again means replacement will be necessary sooner than with properly inflated tires.

How Often Should I Check My Mg C-type Tire Pressures?

Mg C-type tire pressures should be checked at least once per month. Running on incorrect pressures will decrease fuel economy, it increases tyre wear and also degrades vehicle braking ability.

How To Reset Mg C-type Tyre Pressure Light:

  • Turn the Mg C-type car key to "on" but don't start the vehicle. Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the tire pressure light blinks three times. Release the button and start the car. The light should go off within 20 minutes.
  • Disconnect the positive battery cable while the vehicle is off. Turn the Mg C-type car on and press the horn for three seconds to discharge the remaining power. When you reconnect the battery the tire pressure light should be off.
  • Overinflate all the tires (including the spare) with 3 PSI, then deflate them completely. Re-inflate the tires to help reset Mg C-type the light.
  • Bring your Mg C-type to our service center for professional assistance.
Checking the pressure

Be sure when checking the pressure that the tires are not too warm, which can happen after driving for a while, as this can affect the pressure reading.

  1. Unscrew the valve stem cap
  2. Place a tire pressure gauge even onto the valve stem and firmly press down
  3. The gauge will display the PSI
  4. Remove the gauge
  5. Replace the valve stem cap
  6. If the tires are overinflated, let some of the air out by pressing down the center plunger in the valve stem, and recheck.
  7. If underinflated, fill to the proper levels. Remember that the front and rear tire pressures may differ!
